Civic Quarterly’s written content is distributed under a Creative Commons non-commercial, share alike license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Rules for reproduction

Wait two months

Civic Quarterly articles should not be reprinted before at least two months have elapsed after the date of initial publication. The date of initial publication can be found by checking the issue information at the top of every article. As an example, an article published January 1, 2015, should not be reproduced elsewhere (not even on the author’s blog) before March 1, 2015.

Translations

Readers may translate our articles into languages other than English, free of charge, without prior notice, and without soliciting our written permission, under the following conditions:
